Do you accept walk-ins?
We do when we have availability however we strongly suggest booking ahead, as almost all of our December dates have booked out in previous years.
How long should we allow?
You should allow approximately 30 minutes for the whole visit, and the grotto visits are 5 minutes long.
Do you have a discount for Carers?
Yes! Please email info@santaexperience.ie for the discount code.
Is there parking available?
All sites have ample parking available. Merchants Quay, Cork, and the Ilac Shopping Centre 1 are private carparks which charge per hour.
Will baby changing facilities be available?
Yes, baby changing facilities are available; however, facilities at Merchants Quay and The Ilac are provided within the larger shopping centre, which is not owned by Dunnes Stores.
Are prams/buggies permitted?
We can only allow prams & buggies in exceptional circumstances. All of our experiences are fully accessible for those using wheelchairs etc.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes, all of our locations are wheelchair accessible.
Are service animals allowed in?
Yes, we allow service animals as long as the animal is wearing an identifiable harness or lead. Otherwise you may be asked to provide evidence of registration from Irish Guide Dogs For The Blind, Dogs For The Disabled, Autism.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your booking for any reason and receive a full refund up to 7 days before your booking (withholding the €4.95 booking fee). You can do this yourself through your confirmation email.
How can I change the details of my booking?
Up to 3 days before, you can change the details of your booking yourself! At the top right of your original confirmation email, click on view online. Once you’ve opened the link, click “change booking”. For security reasons, we will send you another email with a direct link to change your booking.
Once opened, you can change details for all attendees (kids' hobbies, presents, etc), add additional attendees, photographs, reindeer food and also change your booking time and date!
After your changes are made, your original booking number will be cancelled and changed to a new booking number. You will receive a new confirmation email after your changes have been made.
What if I am late or early for my booking?
If you arrive late for the booking, we endeavour to get you into the next available time slot. However this is usually possible, and we may need to rebook your visit altogether. If you arrive more than 10 minutes before your booked time, you may be asked to wait until your scheduled time for the journey. We ask that everyone arrive 10 minutes before their timeslot.
What is your refund policy?
If you cancel more than 7 days before your booking, you will receive a full refund, less the non-refundable €4.95 booking fee. Cancellations made within 7 days of your visit are not eligible for a refund.
I need to make a last minute cancellation!
In the event that you cannot travel or attend for any other reason including sickness, adverse weather, etc please let us know as soon as possible.If you have informed us after your booking has already passed and we did not have the opportunity to resell your slot, then a refund would not be available.
Do you have a cancellation list?
We do not keep a cancellation list. Please keep an eye on our website and if a customer cancels it becomes free on our website immediately - you may get lucky!
Can family pets enter into the experience?
No, we do not allow any animals other than service dogs into the experience.
How can I change the details of my booking within 3 days of my booking?
Please contact info@santaexperience.ie or ask for a manager upon arrival to the experience.
Do you make accommodations for children with additional needs?
We can accommodate visits for children with additional needs anytime. We ask that you let us know in advance or place a note on your booking so that we can make any accommodation that would help your visit run smoothly, for example, skipping the queue, turning off lights or music, etc. Weekdays or weekend mornings are usually less busy in the mall and have shorter wait times.
Can two families go in together?
If you are booking for a larger family, we recommend reserving two consecutive time slots in advance and adding a note to your booking referencing both reservations, as this will allow up to 10 minutes in Santa’s Grotto and ensure your family has enough time to enjoy the full magical experience.
I regret not purchasing my picture!
No problem, we’ll have a look for your images or specific picture. There is a €35 fee for a digital copy of the photos as it does take quite a bit of admin time and staff to locate photos after your visit and to get them to you. We would also need a picture of your printed photo so that we can identify your photos.
I lost my USB!
